Kaleb's Story

On June 11, 2010 Kaleb was attacked by the family dog, a former K-9 dog.  Kaleb was life-flighted to Primary Children's Medical Center, almost dying twice during the life flight ride.  Kaleb lost a lot of blood and resulting surgeries have left some significant scarring. Kaleb lost his eyelids and had to have surgery to put them back on.  His Grandma says, "Doctors who specialize only in sewing eyelids back on did the surgery,  and that was a five hour procedure, just to sew on his eyelids."  The family has had some set-backs but the family is hopeful that  two-year-old Kaleb will make a near full recovery.  However, with all the surgeries and therapy that Kaleb will need, the medical bills are stacking up.

We are thankful that there are so many people in our Community that have been so gracious in donating their time, product and talent! We look forward to seeing you all at the BBQ.  It is in one week.  There will be a BBQ, a Band, A raffle and a video slide show of Kaleb.

Thank you again for everyone's support and concern for Kaleb!!!
